Lost property: who to contact in Korea

Start with where you lost the item. Incheon terminal items go to the terminal office; items on a plane, airport bus or airport railway go to that operator. For Seoul Metro, contact the center for the line. Search registered items through the official police portal.

Questions before you go

How long does Incheon keep items?
The airport states six months of legal storage followed by a three-month finder acquisition period before state disposal. Foreign passports transfer to the embassy after one month; phones, tablets and smartwatches transfer to the mobile-phone lost-property center after one month (1566-4300). Confirm where the item is now with the airport. Sources: Incheon Airport · Lost and found
Can Seoul Metro send an item to me?
Ask the center about its paid delivery option: under 2 kg ₩5,000; 2 to under 10 kg ₩6,000; 10 to under 20 kg ₩7,000. The page gives no price for 20 kg or more. High-value items go straight to police; opened or perishable food may be discarded the same day. Recovery and free return are not guaranteed. Sources: Seoul Metro · Lost-property centers
